Since its beginning in 1943, Hiland Park Baptist Church has had an exceedingly rich history. God's hand has been upon us and we have seen miracle after miracle. Through it all, we desire Christ to get the glory. After all, this is His church.The story of Hiland Park Baptist Church is more than just growth in numbers. We all want our church to grow, but it must be the right kind of growth! Our growth resulted from uncompromising Bible teaching and preaching, personal soul-winning and genuine love. One of our newest members just recently shared with me, "I've been looking for a church like Hiland Park my whole life." It is this Christ-centered love that makes Hiland Park so special.
We now find ourselves at a crossroads. Our current church campus is just not large enough to keep up with the tremendous growth we have experienced over the years. ...for those yet to come, our building campaign, will address campus needs to continue to reach the lost and unchurched for Christ. This campaign will financially enable us to build a new 1500 seat worship center, choir suite, industrial kitchen, and educational space. Our existing worship center will be renovated into a new fellowship hall and extra educational space. Additional renovations to our children's and preschool areas will add much needed security for our precious little ones and add an indoor playground to combat the difficult Florida heat. Our current fellowship hall building will become Student Ministry space both upstairs and downstairs to reach the teenagers of our community. Also, we will give a beautiful facelift and new entrance to the Hwy. 231 side of our campus, widen and heighten hallways for a people flow that will lead into a large mall way, combine and renovate our church staff offices into a more secure space and create new paved parking.
I know, at first glance, all of this may seem overwhelming. ...for those yet to come is the mountain we stand before. We cannot conquer it in our own strength. I believe Jesus desires to increase His name by working through us. If we all stand together and by faith give sacrificially, then this mountain will become a reality. God is sufficient. In His name and in His strength, let's take the mountain and give Him glory!

Double our current capacity in worship. Current worship center seats 725, new worship center, 1,575. -
Higher Quality Worship
Offers better sound, lighting, sight lines to the platform, comfortable seating, and Audio/Visual improvements; maintains intimacy, people connections, etc. -
Better People Flow & Fellowship/Relationship Times
Our new expanded lobby and welcome center will give plenty of space for our people to connect before and after services. The new entrance will help guests and visitors know exactly where to go. -
More Worship Ministry space
The new facility has a larger stage, choir loft and choir room to support our growing worship team. -
Larger Fellowship Hall & Kitchen
Our existing worship center will be renovated to become a new fellowship hall with kitchen and serving line. This will better accommodate our Wednesday night family meals and a variety of other events. -
More Adults in Bible Studies, Care groups, etc. Provides more meeting space for current and future activities.

Better Access for Senior Adults
The new facility provides 8 new classrooms for senior adults which are close to parking and close to the worship center. -
Added Preschool Space & Better Security
This new plan adds a check-in area for our children and creates one entry and exit point to help keep our little ones safe. -
New Indoor Playspace
Our children's area will benefit from a new 3 story indoor playground. -
More Youth
the student ministries would be equipped with much more needed space, for present and future opportunities. -
More Restrooms
Much bigger restrooms with a new family restroom and bride's dressing room. -
More Paved Parking
